Sinar Serapi Eco Theme Park

We went to a place where we usually go during weekends...Since we've gone to almost all the must go and see places in Kuching, we found ourselves cooped up at home most weekends. Mr. hubby wanted to fill the weekends with family activities, so after going to several places we've decided on several nice places where we can do our family activities..When we say family activities sebenarnya more for the kids mcm swimming or main2 kt padang ker...  I personally wanted to go to a shooting range and learn how to shoot ....but that's definitely not for kids... at least not for now...

Anak yg berani

Warning! This is not for the faint of heart... I can already faintly hear what people are going to say when they see this..

First of all this was taken during the first few months we arrived here. It was during a carnival held by TM  if i'm not mistaken.. It was held at Merdeka field in front of Merdeka Palace hotel. All the telecommunications companies held exhibitions here.

We never told her to go and touch this snake... but when we got there and these two men asked if we wanted to touch the snake, she immediately went forward... just like what happened at zoo Melaka nearly 2 years ago during the elephant show..she immediately volunteer herself for the show. She's held various kind of animals through out her lifetime.. from the cuddly rabbit or furry cat to lizards and snake.

She didn't get it from me for sure. That leaves her father i guess. There might also be other reasons that contributed to her curiousness. Having spent her early years abroad, went to school with foreigners and a little bit of encouragement from us also helps i guess.

What ever the reasons are.. we never want her to change. We just pray for the best for her.

Kampung Budaya Sarawak (Sarawak Cultural Village)

This is another main attraction in Kuching and definitely a must go n see. Unlike the Sarawak river cruise, this is highly recommended and have to be in the must see list when you first visit Sarawak.

Memori silam II

Entah kenapa la macam dipanggil2 jer utk masuk kan n3 ni mlm ni jugak, tak nyempat2, padahal dah brapa kali yawning... oh no! am i addicted to blogging? no! no!... jgn la terkena virus ni...bahaya ni... my life is already busy as it is... maklumlah i'm all in one lady, cleaner..saya, driver... saya, cook (bukan cooker ye)... saya, entertainer...saya, problem solver..saya, peace keeper..saya.... apa saja la jawatan yg ada kt dunia ni semuanya saya nk kena buat .... but in smaller scale laaa coz kt dlm umah ni jer.... sebab tu la jgn tambah lagi addiction ni... or else my other duties might suffer from my neglect.... Mintak2 jgn la ye...

Memori silam

 Ni semua gara2 duk mencari gambar orang utan tadi la ni..sekali stumble upon gambar2 lama masa kat Oman.. huhuhu i miss Oman... Bila tengok gambar2 lama ni segalanya menerjah kembali, saat2 manis, gumbira, suka duka, tension, penat, rasa sebak la plak. Bukan apa, masa tu I was still young.... baru kawin n expecting our first baby dah kena duduk jauh dari family... kat mana la nak bergantung, nak mengadu, nak bertanya. Aik zaman moden gini ada internet tepon bebagai pun susah ker? memang boleh berhubung dgn family tapi x sama kan.. dah duduk jauh beribu batu takkan boleh nak cakap tepon berjam2... mau gaji abis bayar bil tepon jer kan...

Orang Utan

Yang ni memang masuk kategori must go n see. Kalau sesapa datang Srawak tak tgk kawan yg sorang ni, kecik ati dia. For us it's different coz we live here... first time tgk orang utan ni was definitely an experience... tapi bila dah beberapa kali pegi sebab bawak org.... rasanya orang utan tu pun menyampah gak tgk muka kitorang... dlm hati dia mesti kata... lagi2 orang ni...xde ke org lain nak datang tgk aku... dato ct ke, faizal tahir ke? noh hujan ker? hihihi

Why...

Yesterday sebenarnya nak masukan n3 pasal satu lagi tempat yg menarik n considered as a must go kalau dtg Kuching ni. Tapi dah di tentukan Allah semlm dari pagi sampai mlm muntah2 n cirit birit. Nak menambahkan lagi ke-frust-an JJP smlm jugak la besday insan tersayang. Dah jadi terbalik laa pulak ingat kan nak g la mkn2 special ker. sudahnya besday boy yg kena kuar g beli lunch n dinner utk semua...

Sarawak River Cruise

Asyik masuk hutan jer... y not this time kita g river cruise lak... wahhh river cruise... macam kelassss jer kan...  well u decide for yourself after reading this n3...

Sarawak river cruise is considered as one of the main attraction in Kuching. The boat is boarded from a jetty at the waterfront. The cruise will take u along the Sarawak river where u can see the Sarawak DUN (Dewan Undangan Negeri) building, Kg Boyan, the fishing boats and if u are lucky enough u will be able to cruise along the resident of the Sarawak Chief Minister...Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib bin Mahmud... which was exactly what happen to us when we went on this cruise.

Taman Negara Bako

Taman negara lagi.... well i've mentioned before there are quite a number of national parks in Sarawak. This is another one of them. To those who love nature and outdoor things  this entry is definitely for u and if i do this right, you might even get excited and starts looking for deals and promotional flights to Kuching... (hahaha dream on missy~talking to myself)

Rafflesia

Tgk tittle jer dah boleh agak entry ni pasal apa kan...before ni semua org tahu kat Sabah jer boleh jumpa bunga gergasi ni. Now we can also find Rafflesia in Kuching. It is in one of the National Parks in Sarawak ni specifically     in Taman Negara Gunung Gading.

Pesta Benak, Batang Lupar Sri Aman

A couple of weeks ago we went to Sri Aman to watch tidal bore or locally refers to as benak. Apa benda la benak tu...the simplest explanation is there's wave in the river n u can actually surf macam surfing kt laut tu. The more scientific explanation is a tidal phenomenon in which the leading edge of the incoming tide forms a wave or waves of water that travel up a river or narrow bay against the direction of the river or bay's current (credit to en.wikipedia).

Memory lane

   Ok so last time I was talking about history, how this blog came about. Now I'll be going down the memory lane, flash back 8 years ago. When I was soooo young, newly wed n preggy with my first child, my lovely daughter Atiqah. That's when my journey started. My husband was posted to Muscat, Oman, a beautiful country neighboring the UAE ( United Arab Emirates) senang citer dekat dgn Dubai..

Asal usul kewujudan blog ini

I never really know when i started to enjoy travelling. Masa kecik-kecik dulu biasa la ikut mak & ayah g jalan2, but not like travel around the world ... just dlm Malaysia...paling jauh pun pegi buat umrah in 2007, second paling jauh is Medan and that was like in the late 80's. Tu jer laaa.That time i really enjoyed myself... I dont think I can recall any unpleasant experience during those trips. Maybe because of that...I can say that I like to travel.

Tak serik-serik

Memang cari nahas betul la. This is my second attempt at blogging. Blog yg first tu... hidup segan mati x mau... entah la...blogging is not my cup of tea kot. I'm so jealous ngan all bloggers out there, mayb they were born with 'it' by 'it' i mean the talent of blogging. That's my first diagnose. Secondly, i think because i'm totally illiterate when it comes to blogging... i dont even know how to change the settings of my blog.. and the linggo... adusss wtf is feed?? allow blog feed? yg aku tau feed to bagi makan.... huhuhu... there's a lot i have to learn. Bila umur dah nak masuk Asar ni memang la agak slow.... tapi x pa dgn semangat yg biasa2 moga2 blog kali ni terus bernafas la...
